Inkspirations Sketch Challenge #45

Hi all,
this week I've done the sketch challenge from
Makeesha Byl's Blog. and if was a fun one.  I haven't really used the Make a Monster set, so I decided I would start with that, plus Charlie is going to a birthday party every other weekend lately so I'm always needing little boy's cards.  I like how bright and cheery the card is but I'm a bit disappointed that my monster isn't really monster like at all - I think he looks like a vegetable!  Next time I'm going to try some scarier looking teeth, cause I think he just looks too happy and friendly.  All the kids gave it their stamp of approval, (and believe me they can be brutally honest at times), so I guess it passes the test. Although they agreed about the vegetable thing but only after I pointed it out.

Here is the sketch if you would like to play along or check out the other entries, click
here.

And here is my take... lots of circles, I LOVE circles, I got to break open my new Celebrations DSP.  Something else I wanted to point out is the button and the green "thread" - well it's not thread at all but a thin sliver of cardstock - very cool hey. Now you can always have perfectly matched  faux thread on your projects :)
