Molly's Party Bags

Hi all,

yesterday, we celebrated Molly's 10th birthday with a disco party, it was great, the girls had so much fun.  Anyway, I wanted to share with you a couple of the things we put in the party bags.  Molly and I sat down on Thursday and made them all, she is getting very helpful indeed and I couldn't have done it without her (or at least it would have taken me twice as long).  Plus, it was nice for us just to sit and chat uninterupted by anyone else, while we were doing it.

The first thing we made were these cute little holders, they kind of look like little handbags...

and when you open them up, you can see that they are post it note holders.  We stuck the post it notes to the back cover, and I was so excited that they were shaped like a flower because they matched EXACTLY the Fancy Flower Punch flower that we used on the front !!!  I love it when things match - that's why I love Stampin' Up! so much.

The next project was the equally cute little packages below, which I cannot take any credit for what so ever.  I recieved one of these in my bag when I went to my upline's (Nicki Tidbold) catalogue launch, so I totally copied it.  Aren't they the cutest things?

And look what's inside .... a lip gloss!  What 10 year old girl doesn't love lip gloss?

Last but not least, the actual party bags.  I just bought white gift bags from the $2 shop and attached layers of cardstock to the side.  The final layer I stamped, and then added a tag with the initial of each of the party guests which I blinged up with Dazzling Diamonds.
