Gift Sets Class

Hi everyone, hope you are having a nice weekend.  These little sets are for my next class, you can check times and dates on the calendar on my home page.  I couldn't think of a better time to do a little trio of gifts - just in time for Christmas.  You could give them as a set or break them up into individual gifts.  The perfect little something for teachers, neighbours, friends - whoever.  They are not just cute but practical gifts as well:- a post it note holder, a magnetic shopping pad and an easel card calendar.  The easel card folds flat and fits into an ordinary C6 enevelope and is light so would make a suitable gift for posting. I've done 2 different designs so my ladies have a choice.  I have taken lots of photos and close ups. The first set uses the Fancy Flower Punch, Little Leaves Die and the colour combination of Early Espresso, Pear Pizzazz and Blushing Bride - thank you colour coach!  While the second set uses the Two Step Bird Punch and the colour combination of Soft Suede, Marina Mist and Crumb Cake - I think I came up with that combo myself .  If you would like to book in contact me to reserve a spot.

Thanks for dropping by and let me know if you have any questions.

Delightful Seasons Greetings

This is a card we made on Tuesday night at our team meeting.  It's the design of my upline Nicki Tidbold.  She took the colour combination from the Colour Coach, this is a very quick and easy card.  I've just got this Delightful Decorations set but have not yet inked it up, and I'm now really looking forward to that  The Ornament Punch just makes it so easy.  I hope you like it, I do, I tend to prefer cards that are not too traditional in their colours,  red and greeen can just get  a bit boring.

Stamps: Delightful Decorations, Many Merry Messages, So Swirly Wheel
Paper: Riding Hood Red, Not Quite Navy, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla
Ink:  Riding Hood Red, Not Quite Navy, Crumb Cake
Accessories:  Ornament Punch, 1/8" Very Vanilla Taffeta

Tomorrow I promise to give you a break from Christmas cards :)

Rose Tree Trimmings

Here is a set I haven't used yet this year, it was from last years Spring Mini and they brought it back in the main catalogue.  It is a very elegant set and I love using it, I think the Basic Pearls and the So Swirly wheel suit it perfectly and just give it a touch of class. I could have stamped the image straight onto the Very Vanilla cardstock but I thought I would cut it out and mount with Dimensionals - wouldn't do this if I was mass producing them though :)

Stamps:  Tree Trimmings, Short and Sweet, So Swirly Wheel
Paper:  Very Vanilla, Rose Red, Crumb Cake
Ink:  Versamark, Rose Red, Crumb Cake
Accessories:  Basic Pearls, Very Vanilla 5/8" Taffeta, Sponge

Thanks for taking a look,
Sue

Snow Swirled Gold

My neighbour has asked me to make her a dozen Christmas cards in traditional colours.  I showed her some I had already made beacuse I like to get a bit of guidance when someone asks me to make something, and she chose this one...

but she wanted the traditional colours so I changed it to this.  She really wanted gold on them so I got my Heat Tool and Gold Embossing Powder out and  wow, it looks awesome!  I remember the first time I ever saw heat embossing and I was just blown away and I'm still amazed whenever I do it.

Stamps:  Snow Swirled
Paper:  Old Olive, Riding Hood Red, Whisper White
Ink : Versamark, Always Artichoke
Accessories:  Gold Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Embossing Buddy, 5/8"  Old Olive Grosgrain

My favourite is still the first one, I love the richness of the Early and Espresso and Cherry Cobbler.  Which one do you prefer?

You Shine 12 x 12

This is my latest scrapbook creation of Molly.  I have used the Love Birds Simply Scrappin Kit, which makes scrapbooking soooo easy.  Everything is from the kit apart from the ribbon, the button and the title.  I have sponged the edges of the "sun rays"  DSP in So Saffron ink to make them stand out a little more before I attached them and then just added little clusters of the Die Cut Embellishments.  A really quick page.  I hope you like it.

Paper :  Simply Scarppin Kit, Blushing Bride
Accessories:  Pear Pizzazz Poly Twill Ribbon, Subtles Button, Big Shot, Simple Letters Alphabet Dies, Chocolate Chip Marker, Sponge
Non SU:  White Crochet Cotton

Thanks for stopping by,
Sue
