clean and simple

Hi Everyone, just wanted to show you this card, it was really quick and easy to make it.  It's clean and simple and I think that's what it so appealing about it.  I started with a base of Kraft (soon to be renamed Crumb Cake), stamped with the Sanded background in versamark for a subtle textured look, then pierced with the mat pack around the edges to give some interest.  I punched out three hearts from patterned paper, scrunched them up and distressed the edges with my distressing tool from the cutter kit and then rolled the edges in slightly.  I have used the gathered ribbon method - so easy to do - you simply run a piece of sticky strip (has to be sticky strip, snail adhesive or double sided tape isn't strong enough to hold the ribbon in place) then you simply gather it and stick it down as you go - voila!
