Five Minute Gift Pouch....

This little pouch took 5 minutes to make, you could mass produce these in no time as party favour boxes as they really hold quite a decent amount, you would just change the DSP and sentiment, of course :)  I filled mine with yummy chocolates, hence the greeting...

Ink:  Markers - More Mustard, Cherry Cobbler

Sneak Peek #2

I thought that seeing as I gave you a sneak peek #1, you would probably be expecting a sneak peek #2, and that I better hurry up and post it before the big reveal on Friday, right?  So here you go.... this is from my other fave set in the new mini and it's all about another one of my favourite things .... BUTTONS!  You may have noticed from my cards and scrapbook pages that I love buttons, I add them as much  as possible to my projects, I just think they are so cute.  So, imagine my delight when I came across this set in the new Autumn Winter Mini that is called Button, Button and is full of, you guessed it, button images!  There is also a coordinating wheel, DSP, gorgeous Pom Pom Trim, a new button embosslit and actual real buttons.  I'm in heaven :)  Be sure to pop in on Friday to see the cards in the entirety.

Thanks for looking,
Sue

A Parting Gift

A very good friend of mine has just headed off to the United Arab Emirates where she will be co-ordinating services for the soldiers.  She will be gone for 6-8 months and I'm really going to miss her.  I will be sending her cards while she's away but I wanted to give her a parting gift so I made this journal and matching card for her, so she 'll have somewhere nice to record her thoughts and feelings plus when she uses it, she can think of me :)

This is it all packaged up in a box I made to protect it.

And this is what is inside.  It's an On Board Journal which I have covered using the Love Letter DSP.

This is the the little sentiment I put on the front, because it's a very brave thing she is doing.

Her name is Maryvonne, so I took a chipboard letter M, coloured it with Basic Black Ink using a Sponge Dauber and then coated it in Crystal Effects to make nice and glossy.

This is how it looks when it's inside it's box.

I lined the box with the DSP as well.

And I put this sentiment inside the lid with some embellishments.

This is the card I made with the matching papers.

I chose "Live with Passion" as the sentimenrt to remind her to make the most of her experience.
