#117 HSS- Theme Challenge- Wedding

Happy Tuesday and Welcome to Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge this Week!!!

This week we have a Theme Challenge #117-  Wedding/ Sophistication

This summer our son David is getting married to Sarah- so this theme worked perfect for me!!!

Busy making a Blessing Cake for Sarah's Bridal Shower
In each slice of cake is a charm and a Blessing for their married life.
Hope Sarah loves her cake!!!

Stamp set- Creative Elements
Card stock- white, perfect plum, elegant eggplant, lucky limeade
Ink- white craft, white embossing powder, blender pen- pear pizzazz, perfect plum
Pattern for cake- Stampin Up patterns
Big shot- scallop circle dies
Punches- 5 petal flower, boho blossom
Accents- rhinestone brads, paper piercer
Ribbon- retired and non stampin up

I love the white embossing with the Creative Elements stamp and the softness
of color with the blender pens!!!
I used the simply scored tool to score all my cake lines- worked perfect!!!

Just a few of the Charms and Blessings for David and Sarah-

Flower- Blessed with a Blossoming Relationship
Songbird- Blessed with a Life of Harmony
Anchor- Blessed with a Life of Stability
Rose- Blessed with a Life of Romance

Wow what a show stopper! Your blessings cake is a scrumptious work of art. The detail on the top of each piece is gorgeous. Smiles, Elizabeth

All I can say is, HOW LONG DID THIS TAKE?! I have only ever made ONE cake box but to make that many- you are amazing!

Diane, that is wonderful! I've seen these done as shower & wedding favors, but the blessings cake is totally new to me. It's precious! Awesome work, I'll bet they LOVE it. Erika
