Happiest Birthday

Good morning.  Wow, 2 days in a row for blogging!  I'm on a roll now.  I have a card to share that uses some new products from the Occasions Mini catalog.  If you have not seen this catalog, you need to go to my website and view it now!  It is so awesome and filled with some fantastic new products.  And in keeping with the Birthday theme, here is my card that we made at a workshop the other night:

Oh, just look at those beautiful colors!  I started with Pretty In Pink card stock for my base.  I used the new edgelits dies to cut the bottom edge of my card and the matching Adorning Accents embossing folder to emboss just over the cut edge.  It gives the card such and elegant look.  The rose stamp is from the Apothecary Art set.  I stamped it with Staz On Black ink and used the Labels Collection Framelits to cut it out.  I used a slightly bigger label die to cut out the Lucky Limeade label behind it.  The 1/8" Lucky Limeade organdy comes from a Ribbon and Brad pack that is FREE with a $50 merchandise order during Sale-A-Bration!  You can also view that catalog on my website if you haven't seen it yet.  I colored the Roses and leaves  with a little bit of chalk.  I haven't used my chalks in a while and it produced the soft, subtle colors I was looking for. The Pink Pirouette Ribbon, Lucky Limeade brad and basic pearls add the finishing touches to this elegant card. Thank you for visiting my place today.  Now go stamp something!
