I used the Flowering Flourishes stamp set to "create" my background paper.  It was a fun fall day at the zoo with a friend and the colors here really compliment my photos.  Here is a closer look at the individual pages.

And the right page:

You Make My Heart Sing!

Good afternoon.  I'm sorry it has been a little bit since I last posted.  Today I will share with you the scrapbook pages we did at the St. Augustine Fundraiser earlier in the month.

I used a lot of the FREE Sale-A-Bration products, which you can still get for FREE until March 31, 2012.  Visit my website here to order. I used the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper.  Behind the photos on the left page and the strip down the right page I used the Music Notes wheel.  I also used the Fresh Vintage Stamp set in the corners.  I stamped off once with Soft Suede ink to give a softer look.  Here is a closer look at the left page:

The picture on the right is a picture I found on the internet about the new baby.  I couldn't get a good picture of the baby's face when I was at the zoo, so I had to include that one.  I can't wait to go back to the zoo and see how much the baby has grown.  Here is closer look at the right page:

The "make my heart sing" was printed on the computer and cut out like a banner.   I used my new Serif Essentials Alphabet (thanks to Debbie I.) I tied some lengths of the organdy ribbon around the letter Y to tie in the colors.  I love how these pages turned out and I was so glad to get some more of my monkey photos scrapbooked.  But you could use this layout and theme for anything.  I hope that I have inspired you to do some scrapbooking today.  Thanks for visiting my place.  Yesterday I started another place-a new blog.  If you are a cross stitcher (or knitter or crocheter) you can check it out at
www.mytimestitching.wordpress.com I have been wanting to start a stitching blog for some time now and finally did it.

Halloween Night Scrapbook page

Good afternoon my stamping and scrapbooking friends. I have a Halloween page to share with you today. It includes photos of my son, Jeremy and his friend, Hannah.  He was an alien looking guy and she was an awesome Lady Gaga.  Here are the pages:

Very simple, yet beautiful pages.  I started with Basic Gray card stock as my base and stamped the flourish from Baroque Motifs along the top and bottom of the pages with Versa Mark.  I used the Baroque Border wheel along the strips of Cajun Craze using a Versa Mark ink cartridge.  The decorative mats and printed papers are from the Frightful Sight Designer Paper collection.
Here is a close up of the left page:

The letters are die cut from the Billboard Strip Die and the Big Shot.  I added some glimmer brads in Black and Silver and a button from the Neutrals Button collection on this page.  On the right page I added a journaling block stamped from the Tagtastic Hostess set and punched out using the Curly Label punch.

I also added some glimmer brads to this page.  My embellishment in the lower right corner adds just the right touch for the theme of the page.
I stamped the tree image from the House of Haunts stamp set in Staz on Black ink onto a piece of Glossy White card stock.  I punched out a 1 1/4" circle from a post it note and placed it where I wanted my moon to be.  Then I inked up a sponge with Basic Gray ink and pounced it onto the card stock.  I removed the circle mask and replaced it with the negative post it note so that my circle was open.  I then inked a sponge with Daffodil Delight ink and pounced it inside the circle to color just the moon.  I matted the piece onto a piece of Basic Black card stock and mounted it to my page with dimensionals.
Thanks for stopping by my place today.  I hope that I have inspired you to get your Halloween photos out and do a little scrapbooking.

Progressive scrapbook pages

Hello my stamping and scrapbooking friends!  I have a workshop coming up tomorrow and the hostess wants to do a scrapbook page.  So we will be making this 6 x 6  page at the workshop:

They can create this page even if they don't do 6 x 6 pages.  Here is how you can add it to a 8 1/2" x 11" page and then onto a 12 x 12 page:

I love how this page turned out.  Not only is it in my favorite color combination, it came together very easily.  Tune it tomorrow to see how my guests will create a card using the same materials as the 6 x 6 scrapbook page.  Thank you for stopping by my place today.

Precious Moments

Good morning.  Today I have a scrapbook page to share with you using some more new products.

This is a 8 1/2" x 11" page.  I love this size.  Just a couple of photos and some embellishments and I'm done. And I love scrapbooking on the landscape side of the page. I have an 8 1/2" x 11" book just for pages of my nieces (my girly, pink, flowery pages).  This page came together quickly.  I started with Chocolate Chip card stock as my background.  I added a strip of beautiful new Flirtatious Specialty Designer Series Paper in Pink. I love all the papers in this pack, but since I am a Pink girl, this one is my favorite.  And the doily/lacy pattern is just beautiful.
You can see it here, peeking between the strip of Pool Party card stock and the scalloped piece of Pretty in Pink.  I stamped the strip of Pool Party card stock with the the leaf and stem image from a new hostess set called Precious Butterflies.  I also stamped and cut out the butterflies and mounted them with dimensionals.  These butterflies are pretty easy to cut out and they look gorgeous fluttering around on the page.  The photos are of my Step-Mom, Barb, who recently passed away.  She looks like she is having fun with her granddaughters.  I know they will cherish these moments they had with her.  They all look so happy which is why I added the happy butterfly over the ring of butterflies.
I stamped the circle of butterflies right onto the page in Chocolate Chip ink.  I stamped the butterfly in Pool Party ink and stamped the word "happy" in the middle with Chocolate Chip ink and cut it out.  I mounted it into the center with a dimensional.  The large butterfly is a die cut from the Beautiful Butterflies Sizzix Die.  It is actually half the butterfly cut twice and placed on the page, separated by some Rhinestone jewels.  I hope that I have inspired you to scrapbook some precious memories of your own.  Thanks for visiting my Place today.
