Stampin' Up! Painted Harvest Stamp Set meets Embossing Paste

I was challenged by one of my InKing Royalty friends to use Crumb Cake in a card and this is what I created.

I used several new products in the creation of this card.

Some fun, new items that I used are the Embossing Paste (#141979), the Pattern Party Decorative Masks (#144103) and the Palette Knives (#142808).

This is how I achieved the neat, textured, brick wall background.  I just took my Crumb Cake ink refill and dropped ONE drop onto the paste and mixed it in.  I applied the paste over the decorative mask on to Whisper White cardstock, and then carefully lifted it off.  Voila!

I then used my new favorite stamp set, Painted Harvest Photopolymer Stamp Set (#144783), and stamped my sunflower on Whisper White cardstock using Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze, Crumb Cake and Chocolate Chip.

I didn’t want to fussy cut around the flower, so I cut it out using one of the circles from my Stitched Shape Framelits Dies (#145372).

Don’t forget the new leaf punch (#144667) to make quick work of those leaves, which were stamped in Pear Pizzaz, and the 5/8” Burlap Ribbon (#141487).

I love this card and hope you do, too.

Happy Stamping!
Gay Lynn

Love, love this card, the brick wall you created is gorgeous. I was wondering if you applied the embossing paste directly to the embossing folder, it looks fabulous. Thank you for sharing. Hugs, Maria Rodriguez.
