April 2018 Stamp 'N Hop - Annual Catty Favorite

Hello and Welcome to the April Stamp N' Hop blog hop!
I'm Idonna Miller and I'm from West St Paul, MN (USA)!  This is my second Blog Hop, and I hope you enjoy my post, along with the other demonstrators from across the world who are participating. This month we are featuring our favorite set(s) from the 2017-2018 Annual Catalog for our stamped cards and projects.  The Annual catalog runs until May 31, 2018 (and the 2018 Occasions catalog also ends May 31st).

There are so many sets in the Annual catalog it is hard to pick a favorite, but I would have to say probably one of my favorites is the You've Got Style stamp set #143898.  It pairs so well with so many other sets to give some humor to cards.  Here are some examples:

#1  You've Got Style meets retro colors

This card I used the Layered Leaves TIEF to give texture to the background on the Old Olive card base. Daffodil Yellow and Whisper White card stock were also used.  I used the Layered Oval Framelits for both the stamped image and scalloped layer behind it. The Layered Oval Framelits come with regular and scalloped ovals which I like.  I used part of a Delicate White Doily to soften the affects of the colors, and some 3/8" Crushed Curry Mini Chevron Ribbon.  Both the Doilies and Ribbon will be retiring, and I will miss them both!

#2  You've Got Style meets Naturally Eclectic DSP

This card I used the Naturally Eclectic DSP which is sadly retiring. I fussy cut the little old lady, and popped her up using Dimensionals.  Card base uses Lemon Lime Twist, and I also used some Tranquil Tide cardstock for the layer.

#3  You've Got Style meets Whole Lot of Lovely DSP

This card uses a Powder Pink card base with a layer of Smoky Slate and the Whole Lot of Lovely DSP which also is sadly retiring. I fussy cut the little old lady, and popped her up using Dimensionals.  Stamped the sentiment directly on the DSP layer. Wrapped the 3/8" Powder Pink Shimmer Ribbon around the DSP/Smoky Slate layers and adhered to the back, which I then attached to the car base. All 4 colors of the Shimmer ribbon will be carrying over into the new AC, YAY!!!

#4  You've Got Style meets Weather Together

This card uses Tranquil Tide for its card base, with a layer of Whisper White and some Delightful Daisy DSP (which is retiring). I punched a border from Tranquil Tide using the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch and adhered to bottom of the DSP layer (to give a grassy effect). I fussy cut the little old lady and adhered to the DSP.  The umbrella and sentiment is from the Weather Together stamp set (which is retiring) and then cut out using the Umbrella Weather Framelits (also retiring), and popped up using Dimensionals.

#5  You've Got Style meets Lemon Zest

This is a Z fold card using Lemon Lime Twist for the card base, and Daffodil Yellow and Whisper White card stock for its other layers.  The Lemon Zest stamp set was used for the lemons and sentiment, and the Lemon Builder Punch was used to punch out the lemon. The little old lady is fussy cut and adhered using Dimensionals.
