December 2018 Kre8tors Blog Hop - Christmas

Welcome to another Kre8tors Blog Hop!
This month's theme is Christmas.....anything relating to tags.....packaging!  So, if you are looking for some great ideas, follow along on our hop!  The list of demonstrators with their links is at the bottom of this blog.  I decided to make some simple gift tags with the Sweetly Stitched and Petite Treats Framelits.  For me, at this time of year, simple is good!!!  Another plus, I used scraps of paper, leftovers from cards.  Every year, I give baked breads and assorted goodies to my mail people, garbage man, newspaper delivery person, and of course, friends.  These tags will be attached to my packages.

Here are the details for the tree tag:
  • Very Vanilla Thick Cardstock (2-1/2" X 4-1/2"), Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper (3-1/4" X 2-1/4"), Scraps of Mossy Meadow and Cherry Cobbler.
  • Use the rounded top of the Petite Treats Framelits to round the top of the Very Vanilla.
  • Cut out the scalloped edges with Cherry Cobbler scraps and the Petite Treat Framelits.
  • Cut out the tree with Mossy Meadow and the Sweetly Stitched Framelits.  Pop up the tree with Stampin' Dimensionals.  Embellish with Gold Metallic Pearls.
  • Use the 1/8" Handheld Circle Punch to punch a hole in the top of the tag.  Attach a piece of Festive Farmhouse Cotton Twine.

Details for the Present Tag:
  • The directions are the same as above except use Whisper White Thich for the base.  I used a different piece of the Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper.  Also, I used Cherry Cobbler Cardstock to cut out the present.  I love the stitching on the present and tree!  So cute!!!
Now, it's time to check out the other fabulous projects of today's hop.  Next up is Dorothee Buhn.  If you get lost along the hop, come back here to click on each participant's name.  The entire roll call list is below.
