It's Christmas in November!

These are the cards we made at the final Christmas Cards class of 2015.  They turned out beautifully and were so much fun to make.  If you haven't attended one of these classes yet....please do!  It was such a great feeling to send out all handmade Christmas cards to family and friends.

The first Christmas Card class of 2016 is scheduled for Sunday, February 28.
Hope to see you there!

It's Christmas in October!

These are the cards we made at the Christmas Cards class this past Sunday.  It was a great class!  Such a fun group of happy stampers!

For the Wishing You Joy card, we used the Your Presents stamp set.  I love this set and it will be so versatile.  I can see a lot of birthday cards made with this set.  The ink colors were Cucumber Crush, Real Red, Mint Macaron and the new archival Basic Black ink.  Very crisp and clean!
The Flurry of Christmas Wishes stamp set was used for the second card. We used a favorite color combo of mine - Soft Sky and Smoky Slate.   I added a sparkle with silver ink, silver thread and silver glimmer paper.  Such a pretty card!
The final Christmas Card class of the year will be Sunday, November 22.  Last chance to get those cards made!
Let me know if you'd like to attend!

October Everyday Cards Plus Class

These are the items we made at my first ever Everyday Cards Plus class.  We made 4 cards (2 each of two designs) PLUS a 3D item, which was a cute little Halloween treat bag.  We used the Gift Bag Punch Board for it and the Happy Haunting DSP.  It was so easy!

For the Happy Blooming Birthday card, we used the Flower Patch stamp set and paired it with Pear Pizzaz and Island Indigo.  Love this color combo!  Next up was the Truly Thankful card.  We used the stamp set from the September Paper Pumpkin kit (such a great kit!) and the Woodland embossing folder from the Holiday Catalog.  Matched it up with Soft Suede and Very Vanilla, a swatch of burlap ribbon, and a little Cajun Craze ink.  Perfect!
Next class is scheduled for Saturday, November 7.  Let me know if you'd like to attend!

It's Christmas in September!

This past Sunday was my September Chirstmas card class.  It was tons of fun, and even had a couple new attendees!  These are the cards we made:

The Jolly Reindeer card highlights our new DSP Home for Christmas.  Two sheets of these adorable reindeer that were just begging to be fussy cut and centered on a card.  The red and white diagonal stripe paper is also in that paper pack.  Jolly was cut from Real Red cardstock using the new Christmas Greetings thinlits.  Some random snowflakes in the background, a verse from the stamp set Versatile Christmas and some ribbon completes the card.  The Ornament card was made using the Embelished Ornaments stamp set and the Delicate Ornaments framelits.  The colors Island Indigo and Pear Pizazz make a very elegant combination. I also used some of the new thin gold thread behind the ribbon on the ornament top for some added shine.
Only time for two more Christmas card classes before Christmas!  Next class is scheduled for October 25.  Let me know if you'd like to attend!

It's Christmas in August!

I held another Christmas card class this past Sunday.  It was great fun and we made some wonderful cards!
Here are the cards we made:

The "Wishing You Peace at Christmas" card was made using a new stamp set from the Holiday Catalog, which starts on September 1st.  There are so many fabulous new items...stamp sets, designer paper, punches and ribbon.  But what I like best is that there are so many bundled items available.  The bundles are usually a stamp set with a matching punch, framelits or thinlits dies, and at a 15% discount.  Perfect!

My next Christmas Card class is scheduled for September 27.  Contact me if you are interested in attending!
