Monday Montage Week 9

Hello again! Thank you for joining us for another Monday Montage! I am so glad you stopped by to check out the projects this week. With Christmas only 9 days away, I thought I would share one more Christmas card and a little treat bag today. And since we have had a lot of snow here in Utah lately, both projects feature snowflakes!

My Card was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest by Tamera Bertram. I loved her sponged background and decided to try it! Here it is:

I created a rectangle mask out of leftover chipboard. Then I sponged Pool Party Ink in the center, then Coastal Cabana around the Pool Party center, and Bermuda Bay Ink on the edges. I used the Endless Wishes Photopolymer Stamp Set for the snowflakes and the sentiment. The snowflakes are embossed with White Embossing Powder. I added a couple of cardstock layers, some rhinestones and silver ribbon to finish off the card. It's a simple, but I love it!

Next up is the Christmas treat bag. This project was also inspired by something I saw on Pinterest by Debbie Henderson.

The snowflakes from the Festive Flurry stamp set are disguised as a wreath on this project! Genious, right?! I was so excited to see someone use the snowflakes in this set for something else. I also used the Pop & Place book (Top Note Shape) and Tagables Photopolymer Stamp Set for this cute bag topper. I used Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details to embellish the wreath (much cheaper than Candy Dots if you are making a lot of these!). I made these and gave them to the ladies that came to my December card class.

Have a Merry Christmas! We will see you in two weeks for the next Monday Montage! Keep on hopping to see the rest of the projects today. Click on the next button to see Kaitlyn Zumbach's awesome talent or click the back button for Elizabeth Price's fabulous project!

Your card is beautiful! I love how the snowflakes just pop right out of the blues :) And your treat bag topper is adorable!!! What a fun idea with the snowflakes!
