Travel-themed Blog Hop

Welcome to North Star Stamper!

I hope you are enjoying our Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrators Blog Hop featuring projects that are travel or scrapbooking related. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe are participating, so we have a wide array of fun projects to share with you! You may have arrived from Sandy Wards' blog. She had a great project!

Some hotels I have stayed in have a board like this one, although they list usually the television channels for you.  I like the idea of keeping a pen with my writting tablet and used a small piece of whisper white classic weave ribbon to hold the pen.  I also used the Share What You Love Designer Series Paper (DSP), the Waterfront stamp set, and Tranquil Tide ink and card stock.

My second project is a travel journal.  When I use it, I plan on writing the date on the tabs so I have a section for each day of my trip.  I adhered a tab every 4 pages.

I adhered several pages together and folded down one corner adhering the flap with Tear & Tape to create a pocket for maps, receipts, and other memorabilia.

I used Garden Impressions DSP, the Make a Difference and Tabs for Everything stamp sets, the circle tab punch, a 3/4" punch, and Night of Navy and Shaded Spruce inks and card stock.

I'd love to hear what you think about my projects!  Thanks for hopping with us. Now click on the next image to zoom to Elizabeth Green's blog to see what fun ideas she designed.
