Stamping with the Grandkids!

Kids have a way of helping you keep on living even in the midst of tragedy.  This past week, my son and family stayed on a couple of days after we had the funeral service for my mother who died unexpectedly.  Before they left, I was able to spend some time with my grandson and granddaughter creating Lego themed projects.

Jack's class is having a basket raffle to raise money for his school and the theme for the basket is Lego's.  Here is what we came up with to put in the basket.

We made some 3x3 gift enclosure cards, bookmarks, and treat boxes.  The Lego squares are 1-1/4" X 1-1/4" and 1-1/4"X 2".  The circles for the Lego blocks were punched out with the 1/2" circle punch.

It will be a while before I am back full force with my stamping, but I am taking baby steps to get back to my regular routine.  Anyone who has lost a parent likely understands what I am going through.

Peace.

As usual: cute, cute finished projects! Debbie, your grandchildren will have such wonderful memories of the times spent with you and Dave. I'm glad you could have some extra time with them recently. These days following the loss of a loved one are very hard....and unpredictable. Sending love and a hug..........Connie Pearson
