OWH - Operation Write Home

I was fortunate enough to get a stack of Designer Series Paper donated to me. I used up lots to create cards to be donated to Ronald McDonald House in Palo Alto but I still have plenty! After giving some away, I send my extra stash to Seongsook – a creative lady whom regularly send cards to Operation Writes Home (a great organization to support our troops oversea). She did such a wonderful job on using those paper. Please go check out her WEBSITE and see for yourself!!

If you ever have any extra materials that you don’t use or trying to clean out your craft room, please feel free to donate them to me, I will make sure they go to good homes. Either I will use them on RMHC cards or I will send them to my fellow crafters that will put them to good use for our community! It’s a great feeling that we will be able to use our crafty skills to give back to the community!

Enjoy your Sunday!

Waiting Anxiously ....

Hope everyone had a great long weekend!! I didn't have a chance to stamp too much this weekend as my new Holiday Mini orders haven't arrived yet...so I am waiting anxiously for it to come this week. According to the UPS site, it should be here tomorrow night, YEAH!!!!!

But I did had a relaxing long weekend. Came home really late Friday night after work so we just went to Chevy's to grab a bit to eat and went to bed REALLY early. Saturday we managed to went to Shoreline Billiard to play Scotch Double 9ball with others of the APA pool players so that was really fun!! Had dinner @ Frankie Johnny and Louigi and watched Clocker by Spike Lee when we got home. Sunday was a big cleaning day for us as I cleaned the house and J worked outside the house. Monday we went to a short hike by Palo Alto, which was nice to be out and enjoyed the sun.

Oh, I also managed to read for quite a bit. I forgot how much I enjoy reading..... which is another big hobby of mine but have been put off because of Stamping!

What did you do this past weekend?
