Blogging Friends Blog Hop May 2018

Welcome to this months Blogging Friends Blog Hop!
This months theme was Fancy Card Folds. I just recently watched a video on the Impossible Card and I just had to head to my craftroom and give it a try! Now trust me, it is called the Impossible Card not because it is impossible to make but because it is impossibly EASY! And the fun thing is you can make it landscape (sideways) or portrait (up and down).
I chose to make mine both landscape, and loved how quickly everything came together. I swear the hardest part was choosing the colors and DSP, from there it all fell nicely into place.
I chose to use retiring colors from the 2016-2018 In Colors, for the simple reason I wanted to use the Color Therapy 6x6 Paper Stack!

Impossible Card #1 - Waterfront

Card #1
Stamps: High Tide
Cardstock & Ink: Dapper Denim, Color Theory 6x6 Paper Stack,Wood Grain 6x6 Paper Stack
Black Archival Ink,Daffodil Delight,Soft Sky,Crumb Cake
Colorful Seasons Framelit Dies, Big Shot, Fast Fuse, Color Theory Glitter Enamel Dots,Sponges

Impossible Card #2 - Happy Retirement

Card #2
Stamps: High Tide, Petal Palette, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Cardstock & Ink: Dapper Denim, Color Theory 6x6 Paper Stack,Wood Grain 6x6 Paper Stack
Black Archival Ink,Daffodil Delight,Soft Sky,Crumb Cake
Colorful Seasons Framelit Dies, Big Shot, Fast Fuse, Color Theory Glitter Enamel Dots,Sponges

The Happy Retirement is a small nod to the retirement of a long time running stamp set Teeny Tiny Wishes. Although I didn't use this set often, you could always count on finding a sentiment for you card needs! It has everything and more. So if you don't have this set, I highly recomend you buying it before it's gone.  This set was one of the first I purchased 10 years ago when I first started my stamping journey!

HI Michelle, these are both great cards and ones I have seen talked about, but not seen samples of yet! I think the thing I often forget about these "fun fold" cards is how easy they actually are to do! Happy Spring! Crystal

Hi Michelle, I love these Impossible cards - I haven't seen them before and so must now give them a try! I love the them with the Colourful Seasons Framelits - one of my favourites.

Michelle these “impossible” fold cards are fantastic. I’m going to have to try it out. The beach theme is so nice. I can’t wait to have a beach day, and your cards make it feel it’s around the corner. Nikki :-)

What fun cards! That DSP goes great with your designs. I never got the set with the birds, and cards like these make me wish I had! Thanks for sharing!
