Blogging Friends Blog Hop June 2018 - Masculine Card Hop

Welcome to this months fabulous Blogging Friends Blog Hop!
I was so excited with this months theme - Masculine!
We all know when it comes to creating a masculine card, it takes a little more thought and creativity. I was so happy that the Wood Textures DSP was carried over as I have a slight obsession with this paper pack.
It also turned out to be my husbands birthday this past week so it was super easy coming up with his card. I have always wanted to make this card so I added my favorite DSP and I had a true winner. By the way he loved it!

It just happened that I gave it to him the night before so it was perfect for his "Oldometer" turning over!
I used a Brand New stamp set Make A Difference for the sentiment. I can honestly tell you it was so easy to stamp in a straight line! Win Win!
The second card I created was my original card I created for our monthly Demo meeting Card Swap. This was my first card before I tweeked a couple things.

I love this card! I painstakingly paper pieced this card to form the Very Vanilla Cross under the Copper Foil Cross cutout! I made 11 of these! For me that is incredible as I get very bored and normally can't create more than 6 of the same cards. Realizing just how long this process was taking and not as Masculine as I was needing for the Blog challange, I switched up the rest of the cards. I stamped the Hold On To Hope Cross on Very Vanilla and heat embossed in Copper. I popped up the cross on dimentionals for a 3D look, I love the way it turned out.

Stamps & Dies: Hold On To Hope & Cross of Hope
Cardstock & Ink: Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, Wood Textures DSP, Versamark Ink
Copper Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Big Shot, Dimentionals, Snail
I hope you like my creations! I really had fun with this months projects, can you tell!

Michelle what a beautiful design using the wood grain DSP. A simple design to show off the DSP. See you next month. Nikki
