We Have A Winner!

Hello! Welcome to another Two For Tuesday! But first things first!
I sent out a Stampin Up Survey to all my friends and current customers and was so happy with all the awesome replies back from the ladies! I sent the survey and also asked you to email me back to say it was completed and your name went in the draw.
Well here it is the Random Name Selector picked....
SHIRLEY S. heart
Shirley, I will get ahold of you with your prize!
Thanks to all who entered!
Now onto my 2 cards. I actually made them this past weekend for tomorrows Blog Hop (remember to stop back tomorrow) But then I went with another card so here are the 2 slider cards that didn't make the cut......

I used the Tasty Trucks SaleABration stamp set and the Carried Away Designer Paper.
I followed the Slider Card Technique from Dawn Griffith. I love the road way paper with the food truck, how perfect is that!!??
Thanks for stopping by today, remember to check back tomorrow for the March 1st Blog Hop!

Mailable Monday!

Hello and Welcome to another Mailable Monday!
I hope you had a great weekend. I was busy getting ready for our up coming Blog Hop, but I remembered I had 2 cards I had to send out today! So I hunkered down and made them with my favorite CupCakes & Carosels 6X6 DSP Paper Pack. I ended up cutting too many paper strips which in the end worked out perfect for making 2 cards!

This one is for my Nephew and his family.

And this one is for a friend who asked me to mail her some cataloges!

I love this technique, and they come together rather quickly. I used 2 stamps from a new favorite stamp set, Suite Sentiments. How many favorites can one person have? LOL!

Thank you for stopping by today!
Stay warm friend!
Come back soon!

Up & Away!

Yay! It's Friday!
I love four day work weeks! I should start a petition and see how many signatures i'd get! Probably quite a few!
I have 2 cute cards we made at a past Sunday Workshop. I was always borrowing my friends set, but finally took the leap and am ordering my own. I didn't think I needed it but there are so many fabulous ideas to case, I can't wait until it comes!

His and Hers Birthday cards! Night of Navy for Him, Watermelon Wonder for Her!
We embossed the balloon before using the matching framelits to cut them out and of course did the same for the words!
What do you think? I love them both.
Thanks for stopping by and please stop again, I have lots more to share with you!

So in Love

Hello! Thanks for stopping by!
I have a pretty card to share today. We made this at our Card Class this week and I really love how it turned out.

Using the Scalloped Tag Punch to create the tabs for the Metalic Gold Ribbon.
Using the Falling In Love DSP is so soft and pretty with the Bokeh paper on the front panel.
The So Detailed Thinlits Dies cut out in Very Vanilla is wrapped around the front panel. I stamped the So In Love stamp and embossed with Gold Embossing Powder and cut out with the Round Stitched Framelits. I also Gold embossed the inside panel using the same Vanilla cardstock .
So happy with how it turned out. It has been a couple years since I showed the Ladies this Fancy Card Fold. It was new to some of them also which was fun!
Hope you have a fantastic day!
See you tomorrow!

Fancy Fold Card

Wow! I can't believe it's been a week since I posted!
I have been busy in the stamp room, just haven't shared my creations with you!
I found this quick cute card idea by Jessica Taylor. I love seeing new ideas and this could easily be made into a Gift Card holder.

I used the colorful Party Animal DSP from the Occasions Catalog.
Start with a piece of cardstock 4 1/4"x11"
Score @ 1 1/2",3",5 1/2",8"
From Designer Series Paper of your choice
Small Panel 1 1/4"x4"
Medium Panel 2 1/4"x4"
Large Panel 2 3/4"x4"
I also cut a Whisper White Medium Panel to write on. Decorate as you like. I added some cute party balloons but you can add anything you like to suit the card occasion!

Thanks for stopping by! I promise to keep posting everything I have been creating!

Mailable Monday!A Special Card

Hello! Welcome to another fabulous Mailable Monday!
As I write this, I am watching the Grammys on TV and Neil Diamond and the crowd just sang Sweet Caroline! I was lucky enough to see him in concert 2 years ago and it brought me back to that night as I sang along.... So good!, well not my signing, but the memories! LOL!
Today I have a special card I am sending to a Blogging Friend. Her husband passed suddenly and I wanted to send a card to let her know I am thinking of her.
I found this awesome technique and knew I had to give it a try. I will post a link to the video below.

Using the Stitched Framelits and Metalic Thread, you can make any size of stitched sentiment. I must buy more of the Stampin Up Thread, Gold,Silver, Black & Copper are available. This is so easy to do, you must give it a try! For anyone who loves needle work, this ones for you! Doesn't it remind you of the Spirograph we used when we were kids!! Well I guess that depends on how old you are!
I love the look of the Quilted card done in the Smokey Slate and Basic Grays. Dazzling Details in Silver finish off the sponged diagonal diamonds on the card front!
Let me know what you think.
Check out LeeAnn Greffs Video below for her incredible insperation.

Mailable Monday! & A Quick Tip!

Hello! Welcome to Mailable Monday!
One question I get alot is "What do you mean by Mailable" So check at the bottom of this Blog Post for a valuable lesson!!
I am so excited to share one of my favorite cads I made for my card sample shelf in my Stamp Room.
I saw this card on one of the many Blog sites I visit so I am sad to say, I can't remember who I cased for this fabulous card. It used my favorite 6x6 DSP  from the Occasions Catty, Cupcakes & Carousels. I love the soft muted colors along side the bright ones. I only wish that it was available in 12x12!

It's a shaker card! I love how quickly this card comes together, the DSP does all the work, and of course the sequins in the shaker, so pretty!
I stamped the Celebrate from the New Balloon Adventures Stamp set.
Now for my important Mailable lesson!
As a rule when I mail any card I have questions about whether or not it will make it through the mail slot safely and without extra postage, I always have the Post Mistress measure it for me, and usually weigh it if in question. This prevents it showing back up in your mailbox the next day asking for more money!
Try this super simple trick.
#1 Make a Super Simple Envelope using our Envelope Maker.
Decorate (optional) for that special recipiant!

#2 With your Stampin Up Paper Cutter, take the clear arm you fold down over your paper when you cut it and stand it up.

#3 Now carefully place your envelope into the slot that the paper cutter/score blade usually pass through. If you can pass it through no problem, you shouldn't need anymore postage. (Please consider the weight if you place more heavier embelishments on your card or multiple cardstock layers)
Easy Peasy!
If you have any questions, please drop me a line!
Have a fabulous day!
Happy Stampin!

Happy Birthday Wishes!

Happy Sunday everyone! I hop you enjoyed our monthly Blog Hop on the 1st of the month. If you missed it please check it out! There were lots of fabulous ideas for this months Love projects.
We were lucky enough to get invited last night for birthday cake and ice cream for a special lady who turned 25! Happy 1/4 Century! Oh to be that young again.........
I made a special card for her because she is a card maker herself and does beautiful work. The heat was on! I also plan on making more of these cards and also teaching it in my next Sunday Workshop, so please check my Calendar.
I love this Quilted Card Technique, I can't wait to try it in different colors. I have made it in 3
colors so far, what do you think?

The Birthday Girl Loves purple, so I used Wisteria Wonder & Silver.

Melon Mambo & Gold
And last but not least Real Red & Gold for a SS Card Challange.

Thanks for stopping by!
Check back tomorrow for Mailable Monday!
