Beach Sand Christmas Ornament

Hello! I am so enjoying my time off this week. I did go into work for a few hours today but that was only to ensure everyone got paid wink!
I have the Christmas ornament I made for my daughter this Christmas. Every year my kids get another ornament for their future Christmas tree. I try to make it personal for them so when my kids travel I make/ask them to bring back something from their travels which is mostly sand, from a beach, somewhere warm...that I have never been.... You get the idea! Haha!
This past summer my daughter visited the Maritimes and brought me back a bag of the beautiful reddish brown sand. So here is her ornament.

The Maple Leaf was a stroke of genius when I was looking through my framelit dies. It turned out perfect. I forgot to add a bow on it so will do that before I pack it away for the year. You can keep them out for a pretty display, but is probably safer in with the other ornaments.

Thanks for stopping by, I do appreciate it!
Have a fabulous day and check back again soon!

Merry Christmas To All

Merry Christmas Everyone!
I wish you all a wonderful holiday season with friends and family!
I have been so busy in my craft room, that I missed posting my projects.
For today I will share the Beautiful Blizzard Cards. I watched a helpful video by Kelly Acheson. I followed it closely except for the Brusho which I don't own. So I just used the biggest blotch stamp in the set and it worked perfectly. Doing it this way, you get 3 cards from 1 die embossed set of snowflakes.

This final card uses the negative background once all the snowflakes are removed. Never throw anything away!
I love how these all turned out.
This bundle is retiring so if you want it, today is the day to treat yourself!
Have a fabulous day. I will have more to share tomorrow.
Merry Christmas!

It's Getting Close!

Good Morning!
I was up bright and early this morning... so maybe that's my sign to get something done.
Today I am making my homemade Poppycock for gifts. This recipe was passed down from my late Mother-In-Law. I remember the first time she gave it to us with our presents and i'm like ok Poppycock, and then I tasted it! Believe me when I say this is the BEST Poppycock I have ever had, hands down! So I have carried on her tradition and hand it out to friends and family at Christmas time.
Now onto my cards today. I received my last Secret Sister Swap cards in the mail and WOW! They are beautiful! The Winter Woods card with the Dashing Deer is my All Time Favorite from this years swap. Thank you Arlene Ross from Delta BC for another fun year, you're the best!

And these 2 cute little charm bracelets, one for my and one for my pooch!

Too cute!
Well I'd better get my but in gear.
Thank you so much for stopping in! I will be posting tomorrow so please stop by and see what else I have been up to!

Table Party Favor Idea!

I have a quick, easy and super cute party favor to share with you today.
I saw this on Lisa Cuscio's Blog and I just had to make one.
These will be perfect for placing on the dinner plate at Christmas Supper or any special time of the year.
They are Stampin Up's Acetate Clear Boxes. They measure 2x2x2 and you can fit alot into these wonderful little boxes. I placed chocolates and candy canes in this one.

I used the Swirls & Curls Embossing folder to emboss the 2"x9" Galvanized paper. Wrapped with the beautiful White Satin Silver Edged Ribbon and Chicken Wire paper.
Iam ordering more of these tonight since I want to place these on the table for Christmas.
Thanks for stopping by!
Check back again, I will have many more projects to share!

New Santa's Workshop Memories & More Christmas Sampler

Hello! I hope your weekend was wonderful!
I had a busy one, with housework, crafting and supper with the family.
Lastnight I spent the evening in the craftroom creating my annual Christmas Sampler.
I saw a similar one made by Lynn Starzel and I knew I just had to make one for myself.
I had bought extra Santa's Workshop Memories & More Card kits with the intention of holding workshops. Then after I saw this I was so glad I had extras!! Too Cute!

I did not use 1 single stamp on this sampler! There was some fussy cutting and dimentionals used to pop them up. I loved how it turned out! So adorable!

Thanks for stopping by, check back tomorrow I have a really cute treat box for your table guests!

Customer Thank You's

Hello! I have a super cute card to share with you tonight.
My customer orders came in today so I needed a bunch of super quick thank you's.
I had these Poppy Parade Card Bases from the holiday catalog. Well everyone else must have loved them also because they sold out quickly! I had made a similar card for last weekends Card Workshop, and I had leftover ribbon cut and glitter 2" circles cut out so I got to work and stamped my bows and candy canes, punched out with the co-ordinating punch... and poof! I had my cards complete!
I believe they measure 3"x4" folded.

Instead of using the DSP as in the original card I stamped the card base with the Ho Ho Ho Stamp. I loved how they turned out!
Thanks for stopping by!
Check back on the 5th when SU announces the discontinued list from the holiday catalog and sales. While supplies last!
Have a great evening.

More Merry Cafe Christmas Cards!

Just a quick post today I promise. I am busy in my craftroom getting ready for tomorrow's Blog Hop! Make sure you join us tomorrow for some fabulous inspiration!
Yesterday I spent a bit of time finishing up my Christmas cards to get mailed out in the New Year.... AKA tomorrow! I thought I would use my favorite versitile stamp set from the retiring Occassions Catty, you can still order until Midnight Jan 2!
Merry Cafe has so many uses and I am so glad I own it. It will definitely be a keeper.
This is the first card I made using the Be Merry DSP. I hoarded my favorite pages for use later for my scrapbook pages... Although I also have a brand new unopened pack. True sign of a hoarder of beautiful paper right!??

The second card is exactly the same idea but then I had a brain wave! Let's run it throught the Big Shot using the Winter Wonder Embossing Floder... Sadly this folder has already sold out! It is a keep also.

Which one do you like best?? Let me know in the comments below!
Thanks for stopping in!
Happy New Years Eve everyone!
