Blogging Friends Blog Hop April 2019 - Happy Easter!

Hello! Welcome to another Blogging Friends Blog Hop!
We are celebrating this month with our Easter creations. I am sure you will be impressed by all the talented participants this month.
For todays card I used the Hold Onto Hope stamp set.
I really had good intentions to come up with a jaw dropping card but sometimes simple is just better!

Now for some fun! How do you like my Retro Garfield Bunny!
My Dad had bought this for me many years ago, lets say 32ish years ago.
I thought he looked perfect posing with these cute little bags I created.
Lee Ann Greff had a quick video and they really are just that easy to make!
I made quite a few for an up coming craft show and also for my Club Ladies as their thank you's this month.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by today, we do appreciate you our loyal friends and customers.

Blogging Friends Blog Hop March 2019 - April Showers!

Hello! Welcome to another wonderful Blogging Friends Blog Hop.
Our theme this month is April Showers, and with all the fabulous choices in our current cataloges, I am sure you will be wowed by all the projects you see today!
For my card I used the Sale-a-Bration stamp set, Lasting Lily.
I also just received the Well Said Stamp and Die Bundle and I came up with this simple but elegant Sympathy card.

I stamped everything using Basic Gray ink on matching cardstock. Then I used my favorite Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut my cardstock. It adds just a little extra detail to a simple card. What do you think? I love it.
I made a second card using the same techniques just in portrait and in a bright and cheery Daffodil Delight!

I am having lots of fun with my new bow maker! This is a triple loop bow and I love it! I kept trying for a double loop bow... I must keep practicing.

Thank you for taking the time to follow our blog hop today.

Blogging Friends Blog Hop - SaleABration 2019

Welcome to this month's Blogging Friends Blog Hop!
We are excited that you joined us today!
Today we are happy to have a Guest Blogger!
Welcome Laura Schmidt, we are blessed to have you share your fabulous talent with us this month.
Today we will be CASing (Copy And Share) her fablous card.

We are to focus on items from the SaleABration 2019 Catalog.
With so many awesome products to choose from, it was easy for me to pick my favorite product from the catalog, the popular Grapefruit Grove Foil Paper.
If you know me it is hard for me to do simple, so for me I had to think outside the box.
I love the layout of her card, so the stamp set that just arrived in my mailbox last night was my go to. With lots of fussy cutting, I actually cut out way more than I used! But hey, less is more right!!
Lovely Lattice Card

A little fuzzy... so sorry about that! Here's a closeup!

Stamps: Lovely Lattice, Lasting Lily
Cardstock & Ink: Whisper White, Grapefruit Grove, Versamark
Copper Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Swirley Scribbles Thinlet Dies, Big Shot,
Sponge Dauber, Tombow Glue, Glitter Clear Epoxy Shapes
To be honest the reason this card came together as it did, Hannah and I are hosting an all day workshop on Saturday and I have all my supplies that I am using for that day boxed and packed! So I had to use whatever the heck I could find to make todays card! LOL!
I am quite happy with the outcome I must say, since I did leave this until the very last minute! I love the lightly sponged center of the flowers using the Grapefruit Grove Ink and sponge dauber. It adds just the right touch of color to finish off the card.
Thank you for stopping by today!
We do appreciate your comments, so before you leave, let me know what you think!!
Have a fabulous day, and enjoy the rest of the Blog Hop!

Blogging Friends Blog Hop January 2019 - Season of Love!

It's the 1st Friday of the Month! You know what that means! It's Blog Hop time and our theme this month is LOVE!
I decided to take an unconventional leap and use Calypso Coral for this months card. I actually made 2 cards before this for a birthday and a swap card and I honestly couldn't stop! There is nothing more satisfying when you have brand new product and lots of ideas!
I will say that, where I thought I was going with this card, ended up being totally different in the end. I attached a picture of what I was thinking... notice Vellum leaves, green cardstock... they didn't make the final cut!

Oh how I am loving this Sale A Bration paper pack, Botanical Butterfly. It is so pretty you will be blown away! I fussy cut one of the butterflies for my card front from this lovely paper, so many pretty ones to choose from.
Here is my finished card.

I spritzed my finished card with Champagne Shimmer Mist, it adds just the right finishing touch.

Stamps: Ribbon of Courage
Cardstock & DSP: Calypso Coral,Basic Black,Botanical Butterfly,Vellum Cardstock
Versamark Ink, White Embossing Powder,Heat Gun,Starburst Punch
Lovely Floral Embossing Folder, Bigshot, Snail, Dimentionals
Champagne Shimmer Mist
Last but not Least, my NEW favorite from the new Occasions Catty!!!
Rectangle Stitched Framelit Dies! Page 28, I used it on the card front and also the sentiment. So happy we finally offer these dies!
Let me know what your new favorite is, I'd love to hear it!

I hope you enjoyed my card!

This months theme - Happy New Year!
Can you believe it's almost the end of the year! I love creating themed holiday cards and this one was no exception. As you can tell from our previous hops, I still have a love for the Alpine Adventure Bundle! I so wished this set had carried over and am so sad to see it go. It is a keeper and one I will not part with!

Alpine Sports Happy Holidays

My favorite part of this card is the sleigh! I cut out 1 sleigh with the Galvinized Cardstock and a second sleigh using the Wood Textures DSP that I cut down and glued on top of the other, it really looks real! Try it!

Stamps: Merry Christmas To All, Make A Difference, Lovely As A Tree
I also used the Silver Foil Cards and Envelopes for this cute card! I also clear embossed all the Real Red Words and numbers to make them shine!
I would like you to take a moment with me and morn the retirement of this awesome set... (insert tears here) If you really want to know how much I really loved this set, I have used it for the last 3 Blog Hops! Yup I did, sorry... not sorry! heart

Season's Greetings

Stamps: Winter Woods, Snowflake Sentiments
I love the simple grey and white look of this card! Swoon!

You will also notice the new look to the blog hop this month. Rick Adkins was kind enough to take over the reins and we are so excited to welcome him as our new leader!
This months theme is Christmas & Hanukkah. With the holiday season right around the corner, let's get hopping and see what everyone has created!
I was so excited when I first saw the Alpine Adventure Bundle in the new Occasions Catalog.
This set is perfect for holiday and great for masculine cards and best of all I want to create a few scrapbook layouts since my kids love skiing and snow boarding!
I used the card from the catalog as inspiration and I love how it turned out.

Stamps: Alpine Adventure, Star Of Light, Snowflake Sentiments
Cardstock & Ink: Real Red,Whisper White, Foiled Edged Cards & Envelopes (Gorgeous!)
Smokey Slate, Gray Granite, Basic Gray, Wood Textures DSP
Silver Metallic Edged Ribbon, Frost White Shimmer Paint, Alpine Sports Thinlits Dies, Big Shot, Dimentionals, Snail, SU Spritzer Bottle

I wish you could see this card. It's hard to tell but I spritzed the card front with a mixture of Frost White Shimmer Paint and Rubbing Alcohol in our SU Spritzer bottles, shake and spritz on the paper! It looks amazing and really adds the finishing touch to any project.

Hello and welcome to our monthly, Blogging Friends Blog Hop!
We're off and running for this first day of October, which by the way is so hard to believe by the way...
I was so happy to hear this month's challange of Anything Goes, thank you Crystal! Now this is a challange I found easy to work with. Haha!
If you have come to my Blog via Jessica's Blog, welcome. If you are starting here, please remember to visit each blog for some fabulous fall insperation!
This first card I totally got the idea from Mary Haugen. As soon as I saw her Christmas card I knew I wan't to make it into a Masculine Birthday card for my son. He is not a lumberjack kinda guy, but tell me, who doesn't love plaid!!??

My second card I made is along the same lines. I saw a similar card from Leena Girsa but thought, hey! I really want to use my brand new un-inked stamp set bundle Alpine Adventure (149919). I am so pleased with how it turned out.
Stepped Up Card

Stamps: Alpine Adventure, Buffalo Check Background stamp,
Number of Years (Retired - Birthday)
