Pop-Up Birthday Card

Terry, my DDH (dear, darling husband), actually sent me the link to this fun pop-up card and since I had two birthdays this week I decided to give them a try.  Imagine the smile on your recipients face when they open up this card and the cake inside moves!

This card is amazingly simple to make but packs a WOW for sure!  Lorri Heiling does a fabulous job showing you just how to do it with a video found here.

For my version of Lorri’s card I used the Big Top Birthday Designer Series Paper which matched the Nugget Purses from yesterday’s project.  Add in the Tasteful Trim Big Shot Die, Stripes Embossing Folder, Petite Pennants Builder Punch and the Sweets for the Sweet stamp set along with the Brights Collection of color and you have an exciting and cheery card to start off a birthday celebration in style!

Most of  the stamped sentiment images came from the NEW Hostess Set “Happiest Birthday Wishes” which sports 11 different greetings perfect for any birthday bash.  You can get your set today by placing a $150 order or having a workshop or catalog party.  If you’d like to get your hands on this set or any of the wonderful hostess sets in our catalogs, contact me today for all the details!
