NAC #5

This was a fun challenge and finally a sketch I could rather quickly do. For this card, I wanted to use DSP so was able to find my card stock colors, too. I chose Twitterpated DSP, still a favorite of mine, Riding Hood Red and Baja Breeze CS. I punched 2 flowers from Whisper White, with the Blossom Punch, 1 2 3/8" Scallop Circle and the largest flower on the Boho Blossom punch. I then ran them thru a crimper and scrunched them until I was able to seperate into 2 layers. I sponged all the layers, soft side, with Baja Breeze and Riding Hood Red, then alternately layered, 1 scallop circle, 4 blossoms and one Bojo flower, poked a whole with my Piercing Tool and put an Island Indigo Designeer Printed Brad in the center. Then, starting with the top layer, gently scrunch all the layers up around our brad and then open them, fluffing as you go, bottom to top.(Cased idea from another demo) I attached the flower to the card with a dimensional, stamped the flower from the Tea Shoppe set in Versa Mark and the sentiment from Thoughts and Prayers, added the Baja Breeze Seam Binding and my challenge card was done. Probably took me longer to type this entry then to make the card! Now go and create and I'll see you on the Challenge Blog-just click the badge to head on over and load your card.
