Turtle Punch Art Card

So, my son's preschool class learned all about writing & sending letters and the mail system in February. Parents were encouraged to send cards/letters to their child at school. Each class has an animal name and his is the Turtles. This is the card I made to send him.

I was so excited for him to receive it! I knew he'd get a kick out of it. Although this card uses a lot of the retired Designer Series Paper that I continue to hoard, I just had to share with all of you. I used the following punches to make this cute little turtle:
  • 1 3/4" circle punch (body)
  • 1/2" circle punch (blue spots on body)
  • 1" circle punch (head)
  • Word Window punch (neck, legs & blue strip across body)
  • Boho Blossoms punch (accents on feet & tail)
  • Crop-a-dile (eye)
You can use SU! punches to make the most adorable creations! Here is another punch art card I made a while back for a workshop.

This card uses:
  • Scallop Oval punch (clouds)
  • Word Window punch (greeting & smoke stack)
  • Heart to Heart punch (tractor seat)
  • Boho Blossoms punch (smoke)
  • Extra-large Tag punch (tractor front)
  • 3/4", 1", 1 1/4", and 1 3/4" Scallop Circle punches (wheels)
So have fun with punches & see what you can come up with! Need some punches to get started or just don't have enough? You can find punches on pages 200-203 in the 2010-2011 Idea Book & Catalog. Or you can find SU!'s entire line of punches in my online store & shop online from the comfort of your own home!

These are just darling! Good for you for blogging now! I will be able to see your cute designs! Love it!
