Why I LOVE being a demonstrator

I've been a demonstrator for 10 years. This is absolutely one of the most fun things I've ever done.  I love being a demonstrator.  The discount on personal purchases is nice of course, who wouldn't want to save money.  But this job is so much more than that.  The friendships and the accolades for my work are really what keep me going.  Before joining Stampin'UP! I just stamped by myself at home. Now I stamp regularly with several other groups of ladies.  One is the demo group I belong to - a truly wonderful group of talented friendly gals.  I love the connections I've made, I would never have met these ladies if not for the stamping group.  I've also started several groups of stampers, a neighbor group and a work group. I've really stretched myself by committing to prepare the cards made at these events.  I've grown so much in skills and creativity because of this responsibility and I appreciate how the role of demonstrator has increased my abilities.  And, I must confess, I thrive on the praise and compliments I get from the folks who make my cards.  On the whole, its been a very satisfying experience.

BTW: I've also have a personal blog where I regularly post pictures of the projects we do.  Check it out and hopefully you'll find some ideas you can use.

Aside from the ego trip, I'm just starting to realize how much potential there is for real profit with this business.  If you are actually reading this little piece of self-analysis and have any interest at all in what the business can do for you please contact me.  I'd love to share what I've learned and what I plan for the future of my business.

And if you are in the Madison/Stoughton,Utica area then be sure to check my calendar.  Everyone is welcome to come to the stamping classes and events I have at my house.  You'll leave with projects you're proud of and you'll leave with new friends.
