Celebrating My Mom's Birthday!

I got to celebrate my amazing Mom this week.  She turned 84 years young...but she's not your typical octogenarian!  While she does some of the usual grandmotherly things -- birdwatching, cookie baking, & knitting, for example -- she also has a bucket list that she's working on that you might not expect from someone her age!

One thing she checked off her list last year was getting to drive heavy equipment, so I decided to create a squash book documenting her bulldozer adventure!

Since she is a birdwatcher as well, I often include birds on cards I make for her.  I'd been wanting to try my hand at no-line watercoloring and really enjoyed doing it on this card.

This is a really fun technique that makes stamped images look painted!

I plan to offer classes featuring these projects so check my Events page soon for details!

I Love Fall!

I love Fall!  It is my favorite season, and Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday.  Also, being a west Texas girl, I love seeing fields of cotton.

So....when I saw the Country Lane suite in the Holiday catalog, I got all the heart eyes.  😍

Here are a few of the projects I've done featuring this fabulous suite:

These were the cards from stamp clubs last week.  You can read more details over on my
Facebook page.

This is the project we'll be doing at the Country Lane Home Decor class on October 18th.  Click on the Events tab for details.

In case you're still not sure you need this suite, try out the Country Lane suite share for $8 and get a sampling of coordinating products -- enough to complete 4 to 6 standard size cards.

I have shares for each of the suites in the Holiday catalog.  Check them out
here.  Contact me directly to order.

Come walk down the
Country Lane!

2018 Holiday Catalog Suite Shares

Introducing the 2018 Holiday Catalog Suite Shares!

I'm doing my shares a little differently this time rather than the usual ribbon or paper shares. Each share will be a sampling of products for a particular suite and will be enough to make 4 to 6 standard sized cards. You can use these products as a starting point to unleash your creativity, or you can CASE the projects shown in the catalog when you purchase the coordinating stamp set/bundle. Each share is $8 (or $5 if you purchase the coordinating bundle). Sign up for as many shares as you like by commenting below or contacting me directly.

The Stamparatus & Bonus Days!!

I may be a little biased, but I think the Stamparatus, Stampin' Up!'s stamp positioning tool, is the best of its kind on the market...and something that every stamper needs!  Here are a few projects that show some of the great techniques you can do using the Stamparatus:

The mirror technique is so easy with the Stamparatus.  The giraffe from the Animal Outing stamp set faces one direction, but now you can easily stamp one in the other direction with this fun technique!

This card features the hinge stamping technique, something completely unique to the Stamparatus.  You can stamp one image multiple times and have them perfectly aligned.

You can also easily emboss in all fifty of our colors using the Stamparatus!

Stamp like a pro and order your Stamparatus
here. Don't forget to add the Simply Shammy to keep it nice & clean!  When you order these two together by August 31, you'll earn a $5 Bonus Days coupon to use on an order in September!

You'll be able to use your coupon(s) with the new Holiday Catalog that starts September 5th!  Come to my Open House on September 4th to see some of what's in store for this fall - or click on the Events tab above!

Inspire.Create.Share

Where do you go for inspiration? How often do you make time to create? Who do you share your projects with?  I have a class coming up on the 16th (click on the Events tab for details) where I'll show some areas to look for inspiration as we create these three cards:

The inspiration for this card came from none other than the cover of our amazing 2018-19 Annual Catalog.

I think this is one of the most beautiful catalogs we've ever had and knew I wanted to CASE the cover!

Here is the next card in the line-up:

The inspiration for it came from a tube of Perfectly Posh body creme.
I've always loved the creativity in Posh packaging, and all the purples in this inspired me!

Here is the third card we'll be doing:
Inspiration can also come
from the beauty God created in the world around us.  I recently did a color challenge based on my Texas sage being in full bloom, which inspired this card.
I hope you'll join us for this fun class on August 16th!

Also as an incentive to share what you create, within one week after the class is over, post a picture on my Stamp with Sharon Facebook page of you sharing one (or all) of the cards. This can be a picture of you dropping it in a mailbox (or at least stamped & addressed), or possibly delivering cards to a nursing home, something like this -- you get the idea -- I want to see you sharing what you create (not keeping it with your crafting supplies to gaze upon lovingly
😉
). All who post a picture will be in a drawing for a package of envelopes -- to encourage further sharing.

I hope you're inspired to create & share!!

10 FREE Ink Pads!!

A little over 12 years ago, I started my journey as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.  I mainly signed up to get a discount on (& pay for) my purchases -- and these are still GREAT reasons for anyone to join now.  People can choose to join for the discount or to build a business or somewhere in between.  My business has grown and I've truly been blessed as a Demonstrator.  I have met many people I wouldn't have otherwise and have simply enjoyed being a part of an amazing company that is celebrating it's 30th anniversary this year!  I would love for you to be on this journey with me.  The starter kit itself is such a great value -- $125 of product of your choice for only $99 -- but now, with the free ink pad promotion, the deal is even sweeter.

Yep!  That's right!  You can choose a set of 10 ink pads FREE when you sign up by July 31st.  Which set would you choose? Don't miss out on all the fun that comes with joining the Stampin' Up! family!  Contact me for more info, or if you're ready now, click on Join The Fun above!
